Meet Dr. Luke R. Petersen

Dr. Petersen focuses on caring for his patients with integrity, experience and warmth.  He loves applying his skills and knowledge to the people he’s honored to serve, and he enjoys spending time helping each patient understand the best way forward to optimal dental health.

A Utah native, Dr. Petersen graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 with a degree in Exercise Physiology.  He was then accepted at the prestigious Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry program in Nova Scotia.  After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completing his board exams in 2010, Dr. Petersen and his wife returned to Utah.  While they enjoyed their time in Halifax, they wanted to be close to family, friends, and the abundant outdoor amenities in the Salt Lake area.
